OUR FIRST FULL WEEK OF SCHOOL

The Cardinals had an amazing, busy, fun filled week. We started the week off by individually decorating our picture frames for our family photos. The end results are now proudly displayed at the front of our classroom.

The Cardinals met with Amanda our Art teacher in the Art room for our first Art class.

We also made creative and detailed paintings with water colors.

Another resource class we had was library with our two librarians Michelle and Doris. Doris read us four books and then each Cardinal got the chance to pick a book of their choice. The Children then check-out their books with Michelle and brought them back to our classroom.

We made our very own Cardinal bird which is displayed in our classroom. This project was completed by the Cardinals lending a helping hand, together we got the job done. The Cardinals needed to think about what a Cardinal bird looked like and where we can find information about birds. Some of the responses were in books, in books about birds, and the computer. We got books and the computer to do our investigation.

Today, we had yet another first time resource class. The Cardinals met with Keisha our Music teacher for music and movement class.  We played with instruments, sing songs and danced with the Catbirds class. What great fun we had!

The question of the day was "Can you find your picture frame in our classroom Art studio?" The Cardinals were delighted to see they frame filled with beautiful paintings made by their families.

Have a wonderful weekend!
