Spanish Class/Weekend News and Outdoor Exploration

    The Cardinals began the day with Spanish class with Alicia.

Each Spanish class, Alicia picks a different friend to choose a Spanish speaking country to fly to and to squeeze "la vac a" (the cow that says "moo-chas gracias" and then we say "de nada").  This activity introduces the children to the Spanish speaking countries. Alicia also taught us Spanish words for different kinds of transportation. We use these types of movements to travel to Spanish speaking countries.

                           
                           
                           

 Alicia also read us a book about to friends who meet at the park. One friend spoke Español and the other friend spoke English.  As time went by the two friends learned words from each other's language and were able to communicate.

Seren- Me and my sister went in the pool and it was freezing. 
           Yesterday, we had to clean up and it was so much fun with 
            daddy.
Toby - I was playing games cause I can only play games on the 
            weekend.
Zyaire - I play football at my game.
Taylor - I play around with my sister.
Jonah - Me, mom, daddy and Sarah went to whole foods.
Gabby - We went horse riding and roasted marshmallows. I saw 
               a frog and he was hopping and I pet him.
Mattie - I went to the pastry store and I had croissant.
Zoe -  I went to the shopping store and I ride my bike. 
Shiv - I went to my grandmom and grandpa's house. On Saturday
          we had a party and on Sunday night, I was staying up late. I
          was driving in the car and writing.
Tessa - I played with my sister and my brother. We were playing 
             outside with each other. We played at Marlaina's house.
Joey - I went on a walk with mummy, April and me.
Max - I played with daddy.
Syler - I played with my sister and we had fun.
Corrine -  I went to dance class. I went home and play. Me and 
                 Maliya are sister and we go to the same dance class.
Logan - I just play with mommy, daddy and Lucas. I tackle them.
Aarav - On Saturday, I went to the Y or you can call it the YMCA. 
             on Sunday, I rode my bike and that was the most fun thing             
             I did.
